The Audio Decoder Pack is a DirectShow filter for decoding MPEG-1/2 (Layer 1,2,3), AC3 (Dolby Digital) and AAC audio. It allows dynamically switch between those standards during playback without the need to stop the graph while providing high audio quality.

Overview

MediaLooks Audio Decoder Pack Filter is a high-performance DirectShow decoder for a variety of audio formats. It enables your application to play:

  • MP1, MP2 and MP3 tracks
  • .AVI with AC3 audio tracks and MPEG2 (DVD)
  • Movies with AC3 and DTS audio tracks
  • iTunes content and other AAC supported audio
  • and Seamlessly switch between those standards during playback
