MPEG-4 DirectShow video decoder.

Overview

MPEG-4 Decoder is a DirectShow filter for decoding streams compressed according to ISO/IEC 14496-2:2001(E).

Features

  • Uses up to 8 processors to decode each frame.
  • Highly optimized for the Intel processor family.
  • Supported profiles: Simple and Advanced Simple
  • Supports resolutions up to HD (1920x1080).
  • Compressed chroma format: 4:2:0.
  • Picture coding types: I, P, B.
  • Uncompressed color spaces: YV12, I420, YUY2, UYVY, YVYU, ARGB32, RGB32, RGB24, RGB565, RGB555, Y422, NV12.
  • Uncompressed formats: FORMAT_VideoInfo, FORMAT_VideoInfo2.
