A crash-proof DirectShow filter for receiving MPEG-2 transport streams.

Overview

A transport stream is a communications protocol for audio, video, and data which is specified in MPEG-2 Part 1, Systems (ISO/IEC standard 13818-1. Transport stream offers features for error correction, as it is designed for transportation over unreliable media (as opposed to program stream, designed for more reliable media such as DVDs). The protocol is used in broadcast applications such as DVB and ATSC.

MediaLooks TS Splitter (or Demultiplexer) is a DirectShow filter for demultiplexing a transport stream.
