DirectShow source filter for Flash media.
Overview
MediaLooks Flash Source is a DirectShow source filter that allows playback of Flash media (.SWF and .FLV) via the native Flash runtime.
For overlay of Flash animation over video, see Flash Overlay.
The original Flash runtime is essential for the filter's operation and can be downloaded from Adobe's web site (see links section below).
Possible uses
The Flash Source filter can be used as a simple and transparent way to add Flash media playback capability to any DirectShow-based application without much development effort.
Features
- Playback of Flash media in the .SWF and .FLV containers.
==Future Features
- Performance optimizations.
- Transparency support.
