Yes, of course. You can chroma-key one video stream over other. For this you need to do the following:
 +
 +
1) Select one stream as background (e.g. select 'First' scene, and by reordering select the desired stream).

 +
2) Add second (overlayed) stream (select the desired stream, 'Add Rect', select input/output rects, or whole rects by right click). After this step you should see the second stream over first or only the second stream (depends from selected rects).

This is a FAQ page for Vision Mixer SDK.

I tested the current object and it only allows a still background. Can another live source be possible as the background source?

Yes, of course. You can chroma-key one video stream over other. For this you need to do the following:

1) Select one stream as background (e.g. select 'First' scene, and by reordering select the desired stream).

2) Add second (overlayed) stream (select the desired stream, 'Add Rect', select input/output rects, or whole rects by right click). After this step you should see the second stream over first or only the second stream (depends from selected rects).

3) Configure chroma-key for second stream.

Do you have any ARGB test files so that I can try the chroma key feature?

Yes, we have some test files here.
